It’s a very windy afternoon across the state. Sustained winds of 20-30mph have been common all day, with winds gusting to over 40mph at times. This will continue into the evening hours with a gradual diminishing of the wind. Temperatures will also crash as the winds subside with lows Saturday morning mainly in the 40s, including some lower 40s in the northern sections of the state. It will be breezy again on Sautrday, but winds should not be as strong as they are today. Temperatures will struggle once again to reach 70° north of Interstate 80 with lower 70s to the south.
