The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective until 9am this morning for the following counties, Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Ida, Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola, Plymouth, Sioux, Woodbury and Monona.

Showers and thunderstorms continuing moving through South Dakota into northern Nebraska this morning. Some of the storms will have the capability to produce not only large hail, but damaging winds as well.
