The Storm Prediction Center has issued a TORNADO Watch until 8pm for the following counties, Harrison, Monona, Pottawattamie, Shelby, Adair, Audubon, Boone, Calhoun, Carroll, Cass, Cerro Gordo, Crawford, Dallas, Emmet, Greene, Guthrie, Hamilton, Hancock, Humboldt, Kossuth, Madison, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Sac, Webster, Winnebago, Worth, Wright, Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson and Ida.

Storms are forming in the western portions of the state this afternoon. Along with the tornado threat, large hail and damaging straight line winds will be possible with any of the storms. Heavy rain is also a threat as well which may lead to flash flooding once again.
