* AT 323 AM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 15 MILES WEST OF OSCEOLA…OR 45 MILES SOUTHWEST OF DES MOINES…AND MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…
OSCEOLA…MURRAY…VAN WERT…WELDON…WOODBURN…LE ROY AND GARDEN GROVE.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 35 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 23 AND 37.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

PREPARE FOR DAMAGING WINDS…FALLING TREES AND FLYING DEBRIS. MOVE INDOORS AND STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. IF YOU ARE IN A MOBILE HOME…SEEK SHELTER IN A REINFORCED BUILDING.
