The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective until 9am this morning for the following counties, Fremont, Mills, Montgomery, Page, Pottawattamie, Adair, Adams, Audubon, Cass, Guthrie, Taylor, Clarke, Decatur, Lucas, Madison, Ringgold, Union, Warren and Wayne.

Thunderstorms have been developing along and north of a stalled boundary near the Iowa Missouri border. The storms currently are along an Omaha to Winterset to Corydon line. These storms are moving to the SE and will likely train over the same areas which might lead to flash flooding along with the possiblity of large hail and damaging winds in the watch area.
