A Quick Break

Sunday was a quick break in between the severe thunderstorms that raked the central and western portions of the state last night into this morning and the possible severe thunderstorms that are expected on Monday. There is a slight risk of severe weather for tomorrow for most of the state. A new outlook will come out late tonight and a new post will outline the new outlook area at that time. It was a beautiful day outside, breezy conditions, partly cloudy skies and highs in the 80s with slightly lower humidities. By late this coming week, a heat wave will be in full swing with highs in the 90s and heat indices over 100 once more. There is also a chance of showers and thunderstorms for the next few days after tomorrow.
