The temperatures and dewpoints at midday are very high across the state. Numerous locations have dewpoints into the 80s!. With actual air temperatures in the low 90s in some locales, this is bringing heat indices up over 110 and in Fairfield up to 121°! There is still more heating to go and heat indices may rise a few more degrees along with air temperatures. A Heat Advisory is in effect for most of the state except the NW quarter until this evening.
