A line of showers and thunderstorms is currently developing mainly along the US Hwy 30 corridor from Ames to De Witt. These storms may produce wind gusts up to 40mph, small hail and some localized heavy rainfall. A complex of showers and embedded thunderstorms continues moving to the east. This complex is located from near Sac City to west of Des Moines. This will cross the I-35 corridor within the next 60-90 minutes.
