* AT 417 AM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 7 MILES SOUTHWEST OF INDIANOLA…OR 19 MILES SOUTH OF DES MOINES…AND MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE… INDIANOLA…PLEASANTVILLE…CHARITON…KNOXVILLE…ACKWORTH… MILO…SANDYVILLE…LACONA…CHARITON AIRPORT…MELCHER-DALLAS…WILLIAMSON AND KNOXVILLE AIRPORT.
