A Perfect Day

Today was probably the most perfect day across the state. There was no rain, no severe weather, and only a few afternoon clouds dotting the sky. Temperatures were in the upper 70s to mid 80s statewide, with dewpoints hovering around 60. A great day to just be outside. Friday will be similiar in ascepts to today except for a few minor (or major) notes. The humidity will be higher tomorrow, thus it will be humid once more. Temperatures will be a few degrees warmer, generally in the 80s, and the one big exception, there will be a chance of afternoon thunderstorms namely north of US Hwy 30. There is a slight risk of severe weather depicted for tomorrow for areas generally north of US Hwy 30. Large hail and especially strong straight line winds will be the main threats with any activity that develops. Can’t rule out a tornado before sunset as well. A new post will be forthcoming when the new outlook comes out in a few hours, along with the continued threat of river flooding across the state.
