All of Iowa

8am Update

A decaying thunderstorm complex is moving across northern Iowa mainly north of IA Hwy 3 and west of of US Hwy 63 and east of US Hwy 169. This will continue to move eastward. These storms are not severe. Off to the NW a complex of thunderstorms is moving through South Dakota. These storms, some of which are severe are racing SE at 35 mph. These storms, if they hold together should reach Sioux Falls by 10:30 am and should enter Iowa shortly thereafter.
The latest outlook for Severe Weather has come out and is roughly the same as the first one except that the threat for VERY large hail has subsided.
