The Storm Prediction Center has issued a TORNADO watch in effect until 1am Friday morning for the following counties, Allamakee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell and Winneshiek. Thunderstorms, many of which are tornadic continue to move through southern Minnesota and extreme northern Iowa late this afternoon. Along with the possiblilites of tornadoes with any of these storms, very large hail up to the size of baseballs and wind gusts over 70mph will be possible.
