Another day, another slight risk of Severe Weather. The slight risk is for areas mainly west of Interstate 35 in Iowa. The threats will be same as previous days, large hail, damaging winds and a very isolated tornado. The better chances for severe weather are in the Dakotas where a complex of thunderstorms is expected to develop later today. This will roll SE into Iowa late in the evening and may be similar to Monday morning’s event. It’s too early to determine if this is going to be the case. Later runs, and the development of the thunderstorms will better determine whether or not this is going to occur. There was a risk on Friday and very little happened.
