The Storm Prediction Center issued a Severe Thunderstorm watch about an hour ago. This includes the following counties in Iowa.
Allamakee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell, Winneshiek.

This is from a complex of thunderstorms in SE Minnesota that will drop SE toward the northeastern corner of the state. A few showers are trying to develop in northeastern Iowa now but are having a terrible time. More is to come.
