Today was day 2 of a couple day string of hot and humid days across the state. Highs today were in the 80s to lower 90s with heat indices mostly a few degrees higher than the actual temperature. Tomorrow maybe the hottest day of the next few with highs expected to be a few degrees warmer than Sunday. Upper 80s to mid 90s will be possible, with heat indices approaching or exceeding 100 degrees in a few locales. There is slight chances of showers and thunderstorms each afternoon and evening this week, with Tuesday and Wednesday seeing the best chances. Severe Weather is not expected, but a few storms if they pop may be severe.
