All of Iowa, Forecast

The Calendar May Say October, but the Forecast says May!

After the fog went by, Sunday was a beautiful day! Much of the state saw sunny skies, with highs in the mid 70’s, above average for this time of year! Monday will continue the trend of above average temperatures, and in fact it will feel much more like may or early June than October, as we will have a good chance to see widespread 80’s across the state!

Here is a look at the GFS model for Monday…

Summer like conditions for most of the mid west.

This big warmup will start to taper off as we head into Tuesday, with high temperatures back in the 70’s (though still mild for this time of year)

By Wednesday we’re back in the 60’s and back to the upper 50’s for some on Tuesday, so this isn’t a long term deal.

We will also won’t be seeing much rain this week, the next possible chance is Wednesday, but looks very few and far between at this point.

Enjoy the warm weather, because we’re getting closer and closer to… Well you know 😉
