Currently a broken line of showers and isolated thunderstorms was located along a line extending from Harpers Ferry to Postville to Waverly to near Ames to Clarinda. These are moving to the east around 25mph. Amounts will generally be under a quarter of an inch except in areas where thunderstorms may occur where amounts may be up to a half inch.

The storms and the cold front will be through the state by Midnight tonight.
