A band of light rain showers are moving across the state this afternoon. At mid-afternoon they were located along a line extending from Prairie Du Chien Wisconsin to Waverly to Ames-Boone to near Harlan moving to the east around 30mph. Rainfall will be light with many locales getting a quarter inch or less from this band of rain. Most of the rain will be out of the state by Midnight tonight leaving Sunday as the best day of the weekend with highs in the 60s under mostly sunny skies.
