The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective until 4am Wednesday morning for the following counties, Clinton, Dubuque, Jackson, Van Buren, Des Moines, Henry, Lee, Louisa, Muscatine and Scott.

Thunderstorms continue moving to the northeast along the advancing cold front moving through the eastern and southeastern parts of the state late this evening. The main threats will be large hail and damaging winds. Most of the severe weather will likely move out of the state by Midnight.
