UPDATE: The Amber Alert previously in effect was canceled by state authorities shortly before 5:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.
KALONA, IA – An amber alert is in effect this evening statewide as law enforcement has determined that a child has been abducted and the life of the child is in danger.
Dominique Nicole Lloyd, is a white female 17 years of age. She is 5′ 6″ and 130 lbs. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. She was abducted on April 28, 2016 in Kalona, Iowa.
The abductor, Micheal Brad Knuth, is a white male 24 years of age. He is 6’1″ and 168 lbs. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
The suspect vehicle used in this abduction was a black 2008 Mazda MZ3 bearing the following Iowa license plate number: DXL519. The vehicle was possibly traveling southeast towards Florida or Georgia.
