The latest convective outlook shows that the tornado threat across the southern portions of the state is increasing as the warm front still situated in central Missouri continues to move northbound. The hatched area in the 10% area constitutes a 10% chance of a strong to violent tornado (EF2-EF5). The best chances of tornadoes will be along and south of Interstate 80 tonight with the chances of strong tornadoes being mainly along and south of IA Hwy 92.
