Today: Morning showers will exit Iowa from west to east and by Sunday afternoon we’ll see partly sunny skies across Iowa. It will be cooler today with highs ranging from 40 to 46 across the state. Rainfall from this weak system will generally be under .10 inches. Winds will be out of the NW 5 to 10 MPH.
Tonight: It will be a partly cloudy and quiet night with lows in the mid 20’s across Northern Iowa to around 32 across the south.
Extended: Our unseasonably warm and pleasant weather will continue throughout the week, with lows in the low/mid 30’s and highs hovering around 50. By the end of the work week a trough of low pressure will begin approaching the Midwest from the west and that will bring back some more active weather to Iowa.
