The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect until 6pm this evening for the following counties, Benton, Buchanan, Delaware, Dubuque, Jones, Linn, Allamakee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Howard and Winneshiek.

Strong winds will be the main threat from this storm along with some small non-severe hail. The storms are moving very quickly to the NE and will not last very long in many locales. Make sure if a storm threatens to tie down any loose objects that may blow around.
