Travel is still not advised at this hour around the Waterloo area, however other roads around the state continue to improve. A majority of the snow has now moved off to the East, allowing plows to finally catch up. A reminder, snow ordinances are in effect for virtually every city/community across the state.
Skies will become Mostly Sunny across the area today as the storm system moves off to the east. Temps however, will only rise into the mid to upper 20’s with a gusty NW wind.
Stay tuned to the Iowa Weather Network for continued updates about our first winter storm of the season.
