ANOTHER RAIN CHANCE SATURDAY: A cool day ahead with highs in the upper 40s to the lower 50s across the state. Skies will be mostly cloudy in the northern and northeastern counties of the state with some partial sunshine over the rest. Skies will be more sunny on Friday but clouds will be on the increase once again as a new storm system will move in late Friday night into Saturday with a chance of rain showers at that time. Highs on Friday and Saturday will be a bit warmer with 50s for the most part. The rain should be on the way out of the state by Trick or Treat time but as we’ve mentioned over the last few days, we can’t rule out some lingering showers in the eastern counties of the state through the evening hours.
UPWARD BOUND: Temperatures will be bouncing back into the 60s as we head into next week ahead of another storm system toward the end of the week. It will be mainly sunny throughout and a bit breezy as well. That storm system looks to move into the state late Wednesday night and Thursday with another piece coming in toward the end of the week and into the following weekend. That however is still just beyond the 7 day period so some uncertainty remains with that system at this time.
LOOKING FARTHER INTO NOVEMBER: Looking further into the month of November, the GFS is showing a benign pattern with only one system moving through the state around the 10th with a chance of precipitation at that time. Temperatures will be fairly close to seasonal levels with a cold shot following the system previously mentioned. No real trends seen so confidence is fairly low.
