Above are predicted highs for the state based on MOS Data. These readings are showing highs will be well into the 60s with a few locations hitting 70 by midweek next week. These readings maybe a bit conservative and temperatures could easily be 4-7° warmer than this graphics show.
Up to then, tonight readings will be nowhere near this. Dry air and low dewpoints will drop readings into the 20s, with a few upper teens in northern Iowa and in the cooler valley locations. Tomorrow will see highs back into the 50s with partly cloudy skies. The next storm will move in Saturday into early Sunday with a chance of rain. A brief cooldown on Sunday will be followed by a quick rise in temperatures back into the 60s to near 70 at midweek.
