Some snow accumulations very early this morning

4 inches at Rippey, Alleman, Grimes, Waukee and Des Moines
3 inches at Dallas Center, Atlantic and Urbandale
2.5 inches at Adel and Murray

More snow is expected in the southeastern half of the state tonight where the light to moderate snow continues to fall. The heaviest accumulations will be in those areas closest to the Iowa Missouri border. Winter Weather Advisories continue SE of a line from Sidney to Marshalltown to Dubuque until tomorrow morning (West) and tomorrow afternoon or evening (east).
