Today: Another sunny, hot and humid day is on tap for the state, with highs generally around 90 – 92. Heat index readings will climb into the 95-100 degree range in the afternoon once again.
Tonight: Warm and muggy conditions will continue tonight, with lows only dropping into the upper 60’s to low 70’s.
Tomorrow: Sunday begins a period of active weather across the state with a cool front entering the area from the NW. This will ignite thunderstorms in the NW Sunday afternoon and evening. Large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rainfall are all possible. The rest of the state will continue baking with another hot and humid day.
Tomorrow night: Thunderstorms will be likely in the NW 1/2 of the state as the cool front slowly progresses. The front will be slow to cross the area however, leading to increased chances for storms with the start of the work week across the SE 1/2 of the state. Overnight temps will range from the low 60’s in the NW to near 70 in the SE.
