Another great day for those of you heading out to Des Moines for the State Fair today. Temperatures will be the 70s in the morning before heating up to the mid-to-upper 80s by evening. It will still be a mild 81° or so at 8:00 p.m. when Justin Moore performs at the Grandstand, however things will cool off rapidly by 11:00 p.m. when things cool to the low 70s.

Rather non-active weather will continue throughout the weekend with upper 80s to maybe a low 90 for highs. Active weather returns early next week with a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms Monday with a cool 82° high and a 40% on Tuesday with a 81° high.
