Potentially the best day weather-wise is on tap for RAGBRAI today as the riders head roughly 73 miles from Fort Dodge to Eldora. Skies will be clear for just about the entire day with the exception of a few passing clouds here and there. Temperatures will be cooler than recent days, with highs getting to the mid-to-upper 70s. There will be a light breeze out of the north to north-northwest at 4-6 MPH before calming down and transitioning to the southwest by evening at 2-4 MPH.

The early part of the extended forecast shows continued non-active weather with the exception of Friday night and the PM hours on Saturday. Highs will be in the low-to-mid 80s with a light breezy wind. As mentioned, some active weather in the form of precipitation chances returns Friday night and during the PM hours Saturday. We will likely be able to detail this further as we get closer.
