Snow This Weekend, Then Dry

A dusting up to a half inch or so of snow fell last night into this morning across the state. Today, the sun came back out with highs generally in the upper teens and into the 20s. Some more light snow will move into the western part of the state by tomorrow morning. The snow will overspread the western and central portions of the state throughout the daylight hours on Saturday with only a few scattered flurries or snow showers further to the east. The snow will move SE into Missouri and Illinois by Sunday, leaving a swath of 1 to as much as 4 inches of snow mainly across the western and southwestern 1/2 to 2/3rds of the state by the time the snow ends on Sunday. Next week, the weather will remain tranquil with sunshine and highs in the 20s to around 30 and lows in the teens.
