Little Change from Yesterday

Little has changed in the forecast for this weekend. A few light snow showers will be possible on Friday with a weak system moving through the state. Only an inch or less is possible with the Friday system. The second part will come on Saturday night into Sunday with a system coming in from the north. Some light to moderate snowfall will be possible with this system. Accumulations up to 5-6 inches will be possible in the heaviest snow bands that form. It looks as of now that the heaviest snowfall will be in the western and central portions of the state, but that could change in the next 24-36 hours. Next week looks to be dry and cool with highs in the 20s and lower 30s and lows in the teens.
