The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory which goes into effect this evening and is in effect until late tomorrow night for the following counties, Lyon, Osceola, Dickinson, O’Brien, Clay, Cherokee, Buena Vista, Ida, Monona, Harrison and Shelby.

Winds will be sustained between 20-30mph throughout the night and into Monday with gusts approaching or exceeding 50mph in some locations. Travel will be hazardous with any high-profile vehicle especially on north-south roads on Monday. Power outages may be possible. Other counties may be added later today and tonight.
