11:05 PM: Thunderstorms in Southwestern Iowa

We are monitoring a line of thunderstorms extending from Denison, Iowa to Nelson, Nebraska at this hour that are tracking east-to-northeast at roughly 40 MPH. While the severe weather threat will continue to gradually diminish this evening, an isolated strong-to-severe cell in southwest Iowa and in our adjacent surrounding counties can not be ruled out. Isolated tornadoes are also possible with a Tornado Warning already in effect for western Otoe county through 11:30 PM. We will continue to provide updates on that on our Twitter at twitter.com/IowaWXNetwork. Please stay weather vigilant tonight in these areas and stay tuned for further updates.
