NO Video today

A CHANCE OF SHOWERS: Some rain will be moving into the state on Friday and into Saturday. In the meantime, skies will be mostly sunny today with readings in the 50s and lower 60s across the state. Clouds will be on the increase late tonight and into Friday ahead of the next storm system that will bring us some showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder or two across the state. Rainfall amounts will generally range from a quarter and a half inch. Highs on Friday and Saturday will be held down into the 50s to near 60 for the most part.

ENDING APRIL: As we look at the last few days of the month, the weather looks mainly dry across the state with most of the stormy weather missing the state to the south. There will be partly to mostly sunny skies around with readings in the 50s and 60s across the state.

MOVING INTO MAY: As we head into the extended period which takes us into the month of May, the first couple of days look dry with temperatures fairly close to seasonal levels for the early part of May. The GFS has the first storms of May around the 4th of the month and then again on the 7th and 8th at the end of the model period. Still too early to determine much of anything with either of these systems but we’ll watch them in the coming days. Temperatures during the period look to be close to normal levels at least at this time.
