Above is the NWS forecast for lows Saturday morning following this snow storm. This could be as cold if not colder than at the beginning of the year. Temperatures will easily drop into the teens and 20s below zero, but a few locations could see -30 or even -35. Spencer dropped to -37° already this year and may do so again. Any wind with these predicted bitter cold temperatures will be VERY dangerous to everyone, including pets. Luckily, this will only last through the early part of the weekend. By next week, highs will be closer to average (20s) and lows will be in the single digits and lower teens ABOVE ZERO!
