Scattered showers and thunderstorms currently lurking across south central Iowa are expected to continue developing and moving northeast at 45 MPH. This would therefore be around the Ottumwa to Kirksville area within an hour. Severe weather will be possible with tornadoes, very large hail, and damaging winds all possible. 

Cells are also expected to begin popping up across east central Iowa later this afternoon. Similar threats will be possible here.
