Strong to at times severe storms continue to develop across southern Iowa. These are mainly along US 34 at this time. These storms have been producing hail up to the size of quarters and larger. The storms are moving to the northeast, but as they do so they are dissipating as they move further away from the more unstable air that is located along and south of US 34. Further to the north, fog and drizzle will be the main story through the rest of the night, however in southern Iowa, especially in the southeastern counties, thunderstorms may continue for several more hours before moving off to the east into Illinois
