The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma is monitoring for the potential for a Severe Thunderstorm Watch to be posted in northwestern Iowa, central and eastern Nebraska, northern Kansas, far southeastern South Dakota, and southwestern Minnesota. Thunderstorm is expected along the cold front moving into the area over the next couple of hours with large hail and damaging winds the primary threats. The SPC currently places the probabilities for this at 40%.
