Road Conditions continue to be hazardous along and north of Interstate 80 this afternoon. Numerous counties are now under tow bans. Snow is beginning to taper off in the northwestern counties of the state where the warnings and advisories have expired, however road conditions there will still be hazardous through the evening hours. The rest of the state should continue to see snow falling through the afternoon and into the evening before it tapers off later on tonight. In southwestern Iowa, where they have seen rain, temperatures there have begun to fall and a quick shot of snow is likely down there before it moves out this evening. This will cause some travel issues down there as well. If you are going to be out this afternoon and into this evening, be sure to take it slow. If you don’t have to be out, best advice is to stay at home.
