A freezing rain advisory has been issued until 6am Wednesday morning for the following counties Audubon, Black Hawk, Boone, Bremer, Butler, Calhoun, Carroll, Cerro Gordo, Crawford, Emmet, Franklin, Greene, Grundy, Guthrie, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Humboldt, Kossuth, Marshall, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Sac, Story, Tama, Webster, Winnebago, Worth and Wright. Some freezing drizzle has been reported in north central Iowa and is moving southward. Up to a tenth of an inch of ice will be possible through Wednesday morning in the advisory area. The Winter Storm Watch is still in effect for areas north of Interstate 80. Upgrades will likely be coming shortly.
