Another Chilly Night

Another shot of cold air is rushing through the state this afternoon. Temperatures will continue falling into the single digits statewide by this evening and overnight. With winds blowing at 10-20mph, wind chills are expected to drop to between -10 and -20 across the state. For this reason, A Wind Chill Advisory has been issued through tomorrow morning for the following counties, Allamakee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell, Winneshiek, Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Dubuque, Iowa, Jackson, Johnson, Jones, Linn, Buena Vista, Clay, Dickinson, Osceola, Audubon, Black Hawk, Boone, Bremer, Butler, Calhoun, Carroll, Cerro Gordo, Crawford, Emmet, Franklin, Greene, Grundy, Guthrie, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Humboldt, Kossuth, Marshall, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Sac, Story, Tama, Webster, Winnebago, Worth and Wright.

Temperatures will remain cold for the next few days with highs in the teens to around 20 and lows in the single digits above and below zero.
