A Flash flood Watch is in effect from 7pm this evening through Saturday Morning. This includes BENTON, IOWA, LINN, BUCHANAN AND
  DELAWARE, JEFFERSON AND KEOKUK, JONES, CEDAR, WASHINGTON AND JOHNSON.
In Central Iowa the Flash Flood Watch begins at 6pm and includes the following counties DALLAS, JASPER, POLK, POWESHIEK, CLARKE, DECATUR, LUCAS, MADISON, MAHASKA, MARION, MONROE, WARREN, WAYNE and WAPELLO.

A few rivers are expected to flood or are currently flooding. Those include the Iowa River at Marengo, Lone Tree and Wapello. The English River at Kalona, The North Skunk River at Sigourney, The Des Moines River at Ottumwa.
