A Winter Weather Advisory continues tonight through early tomorrow afternoon for the following counties, Emmet, Kossuth, Winnebago, Worth, Palo Alto, Lyon, Osecola, Dickinson, Sioux, O’Brien and Clay. Snow is beginning to fall across northwest Iowa tonight. Snowfall accumulations of 2-5 inches are possible in the advisory area, with the heaviest snow likely to fall along and north of the Iowa-Minnesota border. Lighter amounts will be found south of US Highway 18. There will be little if any snow south of US Highway 20, as most of the precipitation there will fall in the form of rain or a mix.
