Rain Moving Out, Colder Weather Coming

The light to moderate rain that had fallen across most of the state this morning into the early afternoon hours is moving out of the state. Some drizzle or sprinkles are possible through the evening, but nothing more than that. Colder weather will move in tonight and will last through the early part of next week. Highs will drop into the low-mid 40s, with lows in the 20s. There will be a couple nights where most if not the whole state will have a killing freeze, thus ending the growing season. There still is a chance for some rain mixed with snow Saturday night into Sunday. There will be no accumulations.
