The First Flakes This Weekend

The first flakes of snow is forecast this weekend. It will not accumulate and will be mixed with rain. Temperatures will be much colder than they were today, with highs in the mid 40s and low in the upper 20s to around 30. The next chance of rain will come tomorrow with a storm system moving south of the state. The heaviest rain will remain to the south of the state. Rainfall amounts will generally be under 1/2 inch with lighter amounts the farther north you go. Temperatures will continue to cool up to the weekend rain/snow mix. Average readings for this time of year aren’t forecasted at least for the next week to 10 days.
