Morning Rain

Rain and some rumbles of thunder continuing moving across the state early this morning. The heaviest rain is currently over the eastern part of the state, east of Interstate 35. There’s also some light to moderate rain over NW Iowa as well. It is moving off to the east around 25mph. It should clear out of the state by midday. At that time, the wind will begin to gust out of the west at 15-25mph. Another chance of rain will move in on Thursday. Cooler weather will continue through the week, with even colder weather predicted by this weekend. Some precipitation is possible this weekend which could be in the form of SNOW flurries! This may change as we get closer to the weekend.
