A few thunderstorms this afternoon have been producing some hail. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was in effect until 3:15pm for Cedar, Clinton and Jones counties in East Central Iowa. Nickel sized hail was reported at Tipton. Other thunderstorms this afternoon may produce hail up to the size of nickels. Another warning or two could be issued this afternoon through sunset, but widespread severe weather is not likely.
