Light to moderate rain is moving through the state at Midday. One blob was located from Brooklyn in Poweshiek County straight northward to the Iowa-Minnesota Border. There is another batch of rain in SW Iowa that will skirt the southern part of the state this afternoon. This will be the first good dose of rain in several weeks, which could lead to some slippery roads today that would be similiar to ice in the winter. The rain will end by early afternoon on Tuesday with many locations recieveing at least 1/4 of an inch of rain.
