The End of Dry Weather

The last few days have been really dry, which has been a good thing especially in the eastern part of the state, where there had been over 10 inches of rain in just a 3 days stretch a little over a week ago. That is about to come to an end. A front is about to move into the state and a few showers and thunderstorms are possible during the overnight hours in the western part of the state. The rest of the state will see their chances of rain increase on Wednesday into Wednesday night. Severe Weather is not antcipated with the storms that move through on Wednesday. Rainfall will generally remain light, with less than a half inch of rain possible in many areas, with some locations getting isolated heavier amounts in thunderstorms. The thunderstorms will move out by early Thursday.
